Featured Dog - Oliver the Sparten
The new featured dog is Oliver the Sparten, bred by Paul McGuinness.
He is fawn, heavy boned and good tempered.
Netball or basketball?
It is hoped that Oliver is having puppies with Jet Precious Girl of Aylestone, the daughter of Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Royal Foul Ron the Beggar and Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Iris the Rainbow, bred by A. Needham.
Looking at Oliver\\\\\\\'s pictures it is clear these will be awesome pups.

3. The fourth Featured Dog was Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Valiant Young Champagne Charlemagne
Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Valiant Young Champagne Charlemagne, aka Champagne Charlie! He is a superb dog, a beautiful fawn colour. He is a Royal. He is a friendly sort of guy!
His mother is Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Royal Duchess O\\\\\\\'Kay (Roxy) and his father is Legendary Warrior at Aylestone (Custer). Both parents are friendly, affectionate people. Legendary Warrior is Bullseye\\\\\\\'s son and Duchess O\\\\\\\'Kay is a daughter of Foul Ron the Beggar.
As a pup Charlie was adventurous and bouncy. He is now two and a half and he was bred by J. Clarke
3. The third Featured Dog was Daring Skywalker at Aylestone
Skywalker is the son of Rosie\\\\\\\'s Cheggy Regal (a daughter of the influential Lady Yaw Paw) and The Red Pimpernel (aka Biggles). He was born in Leicester in June 2008, bred by K. Garner.
His photos have been entered in a competition at Pets at Home - we hope he gets a prize. He is a lively, happy chap, now just one year old. He has always been friendly and zany.
It would be most interesting to know if Skywalker was placed in the competition. His photos were super!
2. Hudson - Rainbow Jubilee the Dragonlord of Aylestone
Rainbow Jubilee the Dragonlord is a well set up Royal Aylestone, mainly white with striking red patches. He is good tempered and a proven stud.
Rainbow Jubilee the Dragonlord of Aylestone, aka Hudson, has had an interesting life. He was born on 11th June 2007 in the north, the son of Titan the Tyke and Belle Blanchefleur, and belongs to the influential Lady Yaw Paw line. He was homed as a pup but needed re-homing because of a change in circumstances, which brought him to the Home Kennel where he became known as Caesar.
More about Hudson
Whilst at the Home Kennel he fathered puppies with Rouge Roxana (belonging to the late J. Garner), a grand daughter of Lady Yaw Paw and therefore his cousin. He then moved to his new home where he has settled comfortably.
Caesar, or Hudson, has now fathered two further litters of pups, one with Jet Precious Girl of Aylestone, a descendant in both lines of Bullseye, and one with Missy.
1. First Featured Dog, Muddy, Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Zany by Jupiter St George
Muddy, Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Zany by Jupiter St George, son of Bullseye and Penny (Aylestone\\\\\\\'s Standard Rules of Engagement). Muddy was born on 23rd April 2007 and has a brother and sister. He is now about 18 months old and is much loved by his owners.

I don\\\\\\\'t know if you remember but he was the smallest by far in the litter of three. He just had a big head and a little body and a tail that kept wagging. I\\\\\\\'ve some more photos of him as a pup I\\\\\\\'ll get to you. When we got him home he just started to \\\\\\\'unfold\\\\\\\', and has never stopped. At about 12 months I had some worries about his hips. Having read stuff about bulldogs growing too fast and then being foolish enough to listen to people on internet forums I started to panic. However the vet x-rayed him and said he was in fine shape. This is the only time he has been to the vets with anything other than his jabs.
At less than a year old Muddy was approaching 100 lbs in weight. He lives in great contentment with his cousin Dusty (Beautiful Cynthia at Aylestone, the mother of Tiffany) a daughter of the late, great Pluto. They are both friendly and agile.
Muddy is now the father of pups with Cherry Blossom Jubilee.
